Say you make three selections across three separate matches — decimal odds of 1.40, 1.50 and 1.90. Combined, the odds become 1.40 × 1.50 × 1.90 = 3.99 (approximately). With a ৳100 stake, if all three selections are correct you receive ৳399. But if even one is wrong, the entire ৳100 is lost — a multi bet offers higher returns but also carries higher risk.
How the three types of odds work — Decimal, Fractional and American
Cricket betting odds can be shown in three formats — Decimal, Fractional and American. Decimal is by far the most widely used format on platforms in Bangladesh because the calculation is straightforward.

Example 1 — Betting on the underdog
Team A to win — the same odds in all three formats: decimal 2.50 = fractional 3/2 = American +150.
With a ৳200 stake, if Team A wins you receive ৳500 in total (৳300 profit + ৳200 original stake). If Team A loses, the ৳200 is gone.
Example 2 — Betting on the favourite
Team B to win — decimal 1.25 = fractional 1/4 = American -400. The minus figure in American odds means you need to stake ৳400 to win ৳100 profit.
With a ৳200 stake, if Team B wins the total return is ৳250 (৳50 profit). The profit on a favourite is smaller, but the chance of winning is higher.
